Parents think that daily showers to babies will keep them clean, but they don’t know that daily baths can damage the dry skin of the baby. Even during swimming either in pool or at the ocean, skin may get rashes because of chlorine and salt which affects the baby.

While giving baby a bath do not use a soap as it will dry up the skin and after the bath apply some lotion or moisturizer on the baby skin. The moisturizer will protect the baby from dry skin. Even when you wash the clothes of the baby, wash them separately, as all the detergents can cause irritation. Apply moisturizer and lotions to avoid rashes and dry skin.
